Uzer is a 2017 Circular Challenge finalist, developing digital sorting assistance solutions to help consumers select products taking into account sorting and recycling of their packaging.

The Circular Challenge opened its network, and enabled them to carry out an initial experimentation with Citeo and the local authorities in Nice. The Eugène solution was deployed on 20 of the city's voluntary collection points.  By sorting their packaging, citizens supported a local charity (les Restaurants du Coeur).
According to Clément Castelli, cofounder: “Since we launched this project in Nice, other local authorities have approached us to replicate it, and we have also won an award for innovative and socially-responsible collection solutions launched by Citeo, ADEME and the Ministry of Environment. Now we are going to deploy our technology to the EST Ensemble region with 40 collection points, and recently the city of Lille has also shown interest.”
